I've been using the non OS version of this lens for some years now, and its performance has always impressed, providing 'tack sharp' shots.
Reviews have always rated the lens quite highly too, putting it on a par with the EF 100mm F/2.8 L IS Macro.
My question is, does anyone have the later OS version of the Sigma, and if so, do you find the image stabilisation of significant benefit for macro work?
I'm thinking about p/exing my existing lens for the newer OS version, but would like to be sure it would be a worthwhile move, as apart from the image stabilisation, both lenses are identical.
