    Sigma lens dock

After purchasing the Sigma 150-600mm Sport I was advised to get the corresponding lens dock. Whilst I had no AF issues with the AF accuracy of this lens with the 7DII, I did some other adjustments using the dock including modifying the IS to steady the image in the viewfinder.

I now have the Sigma 18-300mm DC (a "Contemporary" lens) and noticed it needed a -2 microadjustment at closer focus distances. The in camera AF Microadjustment did not appear capable of providing precise enough results but using the dock, which has many more adjustment criteria available, I have achieved perfect results at all focal lengths and distances.

A very useful piece of kit for just £34.

Good to hear David and a good buy too. I'm sure Canon charge more than that for any service including a sensor clean
