Got my 70-200mm 2.8L IS II, but........

.....Santa's taken it away until Christmas day!

I was allowed to quickly test it though and it's impressive! Very sharp for a zoom! But a few shots in a snowy garden isn't really pushing it to it's limits so roll on Christmas day!

I have had this lens for a month now, the quality is superb, you won't regret it. Quite happy using it wide open all day. It's sooo sharp

                  Hi S_L,

You'll be drooling all over the place waiting to open your pressie. At least you know the lens is 'in the bag' - Old proverb - a Lens in the bag is worth two promised! My son has had this lens for sometime & taken some superb pictures with it.

Might see you up Old John sometime Probably Christmas day morning

                  TTFN,

You've probably seen me around Bradgate Park already, I'm there a lot lugging my gear around, usually chasing deer!

Those bloomin' deer can be pretty d*mn elusive when they want to be! Look out for yours truly, I'm up at Braggie quite regularly - 7D + 100-400 (the 300mil is way to bloomin' heavy to cart around there on a normal walk!) - following the missus & dog.
