Lens babies

Does anyone have experience of these, please? Have seen some stunning images of flowers taken with them. I'm trying to rest a strained calf muscle so spent some time trawling through this lens section and it's made me itchy to try something new!! I think that basically I am after something that will give me more bokeh than my 17-85.

The words fun and creative are often used in discussions about lens babies.

Imho they can produce images that confuse non-photographers; in a bad way, thus of no value to me :-)
Something I wouldn't mind borrowing and playing with for an hour - not buying.

Please don't let my negetivity about these put you off

I strive to keep things sharp, so gadgets to make bits unsharp aren't high on my agenda.
