5d mkii firmware

Hi,

Just tried to update my 5d mkii firmware. problem is I appear to have missed an update :-(
The camera is at 2.0.9
The canon website is offering 2.1.2 no sign of 2.1.1
Does anyone know where I can get 2.1.1?

Hi Martyn

You do not require 2.11 as all updates are accumulative.
Hopefully you are following the instructions correctly.

2.11 was the version that came and disappeared almost immediately. As Stephen says - go straight to the latest

You need to unzip the file first.
Both the firmware update (5D200212.FIR) and instructions (5d2-firmwareupdate-en) are contained in the unzipped folder.
To read the instructions you need Adobe Reader which is a free download HERE

I've never updated the firmware since I bought my 5D2 three years ago
... or on any body to be honest.

Am I missing anything?
