    Canon Utilities

On the Mac when I connect the 5D via USB a requestor pops up complaining 'No Camera was found'

Camera Window looks to be the culprit that pops the requestor but as is usual with Canon software it would be nice to give a clue in the first place!

It would appear that Canon's EOS Utility also does not recognise when a Canon 5D camera is connected? Please don't tell me Canon have dropped support for their own 5D in their own software now that the MKIII has been released?

Is there a way to get Canon's own software to recognise the 5D?

Load an earlier version of EOS Utility possibly?

iPhoto on the Mac correctly identifies & connects to the 5D with no problems.

The camera is set to PC and I am sure used to talk to the Mac...maybe! :)

I also carried out a clean install of Canon Utilities from the disc that came with my 7D under Fusion/XP but even that did not recognise the 5D?

Have I lost the plot here?

The reason I used the CD from the 7D is because I cannot find the CD that came with the 5D - does anyone have a copy knocking around that they would be willing to sell please or can I still obtain this from Canon?

    Thanks & kind regards,
    -=Glyn=-
