Elements 10 question ?

I am starting to process RAW images but when I press "save as" I do not get the JPeg option for posting on the forum, can anyone help me please ?

On elements 9, if the file is flattened first, it comes up with the format as JPEG automatically, though you still can save as what ever you need. If it's not flattened, it defaults to psd files. If you click on the format/psd option and press 'j' it should select Jpeg, or you can scroll down the list and select what ever you want.

...That is assuming it works in the same way as pse9.

If you want to save as a JPG you need to open the raw file as 8 bit. If it's opened as 16 bit you need to convert it to 8 bit before you can save as JPG.
