    Nat try running Recuva on you PC hard Drive "C" as Riggers suggested at #11, you never know it may find something but...do it sooner rather than later as you could overwrite previously files.
    The tip about Lightroom is also worth thinking about especially when you purchase your external hard drive.

      Thanks. Will do it now pointing the programme to my hard drive.
