Yes, you can export from LR to DxO via the plug-in, and then back again. Works well IMO

Quite nice the way it automates, but jolly slow on my machine.

The PRIME deionising noise reduction in DxO is VERY demanding of CPU resources. Depending on what you've got under the bonnet, don't expect to do much too much else whilst its working. If you have an i5 or i7 you'll probably be fine, but I do struggle sometimes with my measly i3 lol
However, the results with PRIME NR are just amazing IMO and well worth waiting for

Duh!! Forgot that the PRIME algorithms only come with DxO Optics 9
Still, a good chance to test-drive 8 :)

Yup! Although I think that unless you shoot at high ISOs regularly and/or you have ancient bodies like mine, the NR in LR should be perfectly adequate.
