I bought a LR6 upgrade (the trick is to follow the route to buy the full version then edit it to the upgrade, it's a real pain to dodge CC though) and it installed okay except it didn't find my LR5 install ("no qualifying product found") and so I had to feed it the LR5 serial. (Thom Hogan had a similar issue.) Installed okay and seems to work okay. Only had a play with the HDR so far.

from what I've heard the CC upgrade from LR5 to CC seems easier ....

interested to hear how you find it - I was chatting to a guy about the HDR feature and he said it was very good, although you need to ignore LR advice for 2 photos only !
