PDF files

I have got another problem since I had to replace my PSU about a fortnight ago. I am unable to open my PDF files although I have entered my password and even signed up for a new password. Everytime I click on the Adobe file reference I get the prompt "enter password" and when I enter the password, the message says that it is incorrect.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

That is strange - I have never had to enter a password to view pdf files

Perhaps try downloading the latest version and see if that makes any difference

Also just googled the question and looks like a lot of people are asking the same question

The link you gave me, Stan, has been marked out by my Anti virus (microsoft) as unsafe for my computer and hence I have not downloaded it. So I am back to square one.

Having re checked, I thought that was a download from Adobe but it is a third party site. Going on to the Adobe site it looks like they are now promoting Adobe Reader DC which unlike previous versions has to be paid for but you can download a 30 day trial
