Canon Utility...Confused

I use the above re my 5D MK11 and all ok , have just bought an SX210 powershot which does not appear to link up re downloads to the utility, had the same problem with an IXUS,

Any ideas ?

Am using windows 7

I would check the Canon website for updates for the application. So that you could download the latest version, or you check the version which should have been supplied on a CD with your latest camera against the version you have loaded currently.

The EOS utility only works with the EOS range of DSLR's. Normally you have to install Canon CameraWindow for point and shoots like the G11, IXUS etc, so install from your disk for the SX210 and then update from the Canon web site.
