    Canon DPP print centering problem

I've had my R3000 for about a week now and have been getting the expected first class results from it.

I use PSCS5, LR3.4 and the latest version of Canon DPP as my programmes of choice, usually printing from DPP.

This works fine when printing with the gloss / lustre setting, including large panos but when printing with Fine Art papers, via the front feed slot I run into problems (but only with DPP)

What happens is that the print is delivered displaced off-centre by about 3/4inch both vertically and horizontally whereas CS5 and LR3 produce the print centred. The print preview shows it centred in all cases.

Epson help's approach is that it is a software problem for canon to solve (of course )

I wondered if anyone here has seen the same / got any ideas on its resolution - please?

I can only think that DPP is storing some margin settings which are not being reset.

thanks for responding Brian, I did wonder about that but can't spot anything that changed when changing ink / paper setting in the Epson driver. )

Are you using the plugin? I only have an Epson 1400 but I rather suspect the software will be very close

Sorted, you made me go back and look again and I'm embarrased to say I've spotted what the problem was and sorted it.
Although I had everything set right (I thought) the paper size in DPP kept resetting itself to A3+ instead of A3 (which was what I wanted).
I don't know why it did it or why it didn't flag up a mismatch in paper size but its sorted anyway - thanks Brian
