LightRoom 4 Beta is now available to download

there are some interesting improvements and changes. I've downloaded to my 64bit win 7 machine and initial impressions are vey good. Very fast processing, it seems even easier to get high quality results. The video proecessing options look interesting but I haven't anything to play with there at the moment.

Download it and see what you think (its runs alongside LR3 and doesn't interfere with your catalogues)

And it's great!! I've gone back and forth between liggtroom 3 and photoshop CS5, but I'll stick to LR4 now.

its pretty darned good for a beta isn't it. I've been doing a bit more work with ti and find its excellent at pulling out detail in light and shade + the local noise reduction & sharpness adjustments are very useful. Its a bit slow at times when using the adjustment brushes though. I wonder how much the upgrade will be.

I've looked at the videos and it looks quite impressive.
I'll certainly think about the upgrade when its released
