Hello,
Just registered but I've been a Canon user on and off for many years. I'm mostly a film person and use Leica and Bronica, but I bought a s/h 20D a couple of years ago so that I could take digital images when I had to and use my Leica R lenses.
I've since added a few Canon and Sigma AF lenses - nothing exotic - and now a 2nd body, 30D.
I was asked to shoot a wedding recently, I'd always used the Bronica in the past but this was on a tight budget and digital made more sense. Anyway it all went well and I find I enjoy using the Canon's, even though they're pretty much antiques in the digital world they still turn out perfectly good files.
I'm now looking at buying a decent quality standard zoom, as I was using a variety of lenses for the wedding, and being used to Leica quality I knew that some of the glass was my weak link, even though the results were fine.
I've also thought about selling the 20/30D and some other gear and buying a couple of FF bodies but that's another issue altogether.....
