Just as Dave did last month I also looked back over the years for inspiration and to ensure the subject I had in mind was both original and affording sufficient scope for ingenuity.
and I've chosen 'Steam'!
OK, I do have a passion for steam engines but I'm not expecting everyone to go to their local preserved railway for a shoot as I think there is breadth to be enjoyed with the subject as steam is merely the vapour formed when water is heated so, in addition to a gurt big locomotive, it could be:
Steam rising from a hot drink
Breath on a cold day
A misted up bathroom mirror
'steamed up' car windows
But also it could be whatever produces steam which may be:
a large steam locomotive
a steam boat
a traction engine / steam roller
a kettle on a camping stove
an iron
a bathroom tap
a geyser
or...
And to further extend the scope I'm not even necessarily looking for visible steam as anything obviously related to steam is OK by me.
That's it then, nice and simple so let's have plenty of entries.
Pay attention as here comes the small print...

Good luck to all,
John
