    A few more from the Flying Aces event.

    Having been inspired by Ian's great shots of the event, here are a few of mine.











    All taken with a 1Dx and a 300mm f2.8Lis + 1.4 TCII, apart from the troop transport, where a 70-300 f4/5.6Lis was used.

        Hi Scuff, a very nice set of images with great detail. Looking at your #2 shot when you took that you must have been stood within a few feet of me as I have a series of the guys getting into the truck and then driving around the replica plane and parking again. As you mentioned I also hope that Andy holds another of these events as it was a great day out and very cheap

          This is when they were driving along the flight line, most people had gone by then. I always stay to the end, often there are good shots to be had then.
          I would certainly go again, we will have to meet up at the next one and compare notes.

                      I like all of them for different reasons, but my favourite has to be #5 for the composition. The whole story of that acrobatic manoevre tied up in one 2D shot ............. I really like that.

                        They all look a little tight in the frame; but clear, sharp & a very nice series...
