I've changed the name of this forum/category to 'Events and exhibitions'. The previous name of 'Forum meet ups and events' was a bit misleading - perhaps it should have been called 'Events and forum meet ups'.
Anyway, the new name gives a much broader scope, encouraging posts covering local camera club events, photo dealer days, national and international photo shows and more. You can also post details of meet-ups you would like to organise for forum members - a great way to put faces to usernames and avatars.
Of course, all the event information really ought to go in the 'Calendar' - see menu above - but no one seems to use this. Perhaps we can start now, adding dates to the calendar as information is posted here.
