    Software Update

Thank you Robert for your hard work in maintaining the forum.
I was a bit "worried" this morning when I got a DataBase Error but figured someone was "up to something".

So far the upgrade looks good.

    I'm saying nothing David ;-)

But as you say the changes are there ... like auto saving replies (and thus far the reply problem ... the one that thinks you've already replied ... has gone away).

So a big thank-you from me.

      Re: Software Update

Looks good so far and the dreaded 'you have to wait blah blah blah' seems to have gone.

My only bugbear is that every time I log in or 'refresh' it goes to the 'what's new' template instead of the standard 'forum' one, have had a look at personal settings and can't see anything obvious.

Just to confirm - it goes straight to 'what's new' layout on home PC as well, so that rules out a work PC issue. Great other than that

            Re: Software Update

The upgrade looks to have gone very smoothly

I looked at the mobile skin on my android phone it looks very user friendly.
I haven't had time to play much on my phone, on first impressions - I think I don't need to buy the tapatalk app which AFAIK costs £1.19 for the android app.

Thanks for the time you put in.

I've changed this. You should now open on 'Forum'.

Nope sorry Robert, cleared all history etc even tried it on another machine and as soon as I open the forum it goes straight into 'what's new'.

OK. I'll take another look when I have more time.

I'll second that, the new look and feel is pretty good, I think. Obviously much effort has gone into it and teething issues sorted promptly.

                        Well done from me! Mike.

Is it just me that has to enter user name and password every time I visit, despite ticking the remember me box? This is on all devices so not a problem with one device/computer?

Hey Real Swoosh, trying to replicate it here, I tried it in Opera on Android phone, FF and Chrome in windows 7 with no problems.

Have you changed any security settings, such as remove cookies/history on exit of browser?
Sorry I've not been around much. Sadly the ankle surgery and carpal tunnel surgery have both been unsuccessful, so have to wait and see what happens next. I hope to be shooting a lot more in the future!
