    Computers

Initial thoughts on the new forum are that it is excellent, I am sure that a number of bugs will have to be sorted out in the weeks ahead but that is to be expected.

What I would like to see as a topic is a computer page where members could post their queries/questions and requests for help, we have a software section so maybe the two subjects could be merged.

To start the ball rolling I am trying to work out how I can put a copyright sign on my photographs before they are posted on a web site, I am using Elements 6, does any have any idea how this can be done?

    Thanks.

I'm assuming you're on Windows, to generate a copyright symbol press the ALT key and key in 0169 on the numeric keypad. Or CONTROL + ALT + C.

On Apple OS use OPTION + G. İİİİİİİİİ*

      Owin,

Thanks for this I'll give it a try as soon as I get my computer back from the repairers.

      Regards,

      Martin.

        Hi Martin,

I added a computer hardware category. I think it's an excellent idea, people can discuss things like the merits of macs vs pcs, different monitors etc.

By the way, there's a good tutorial here on watermarking photos in Elements:
