    Forum Challenge Number 4: 19th April - 2nd May

I woke up with a headache this morning and more than a little grumpy and then I thought about the competition title. The courtship ritual of the Tibetan Snow Leopards perhaps? Thankfully for all of you, a couple of brain-ache tablets and a mug of hot coffee eased the grumpiness slightly, so I considered a theme that we could all access, which is not necessarily weather dependant, but could still stretch our imaginations.

So the theme for the competition is: Childhood

    • Millie’s rules apply.

    • You have two weeks to take your shot.

    • Think carefully about the title!

    • It would be very nice for new members who have never posted before to have a go. This is just for fun, so join in.

    Good luck to you all.

Going to be a challenge in this house. No children and none I can borrow. A little lateral thinking required.

I'm not trying to modify the theme, but since it can be a concern about photographing other people's children, I'd like to point out that Colin has only set the theme as being childhood. There are other options that still speaks of childhood. You could photograph something that reminds you of childhood without it including a child. It could be a swing set in a park, a kid's muddy shoes on the floor, or bubble gum stuck in someone's hair.

Incidentally, instead of posting the photos to this thread and then deleting these messages later, Colin, maybe you should start another thread that just for image entries and no comments.

Concentrating hard on being Thomas the Tank Engine towing two generations of coaches along the narrow gauge track (no trains running that day) at Wicksteed Park, Kettering.
