Forum Challenge 31 - "Wild Nature"

The challenge will run from the 4th August to midnight on the 18th August

What do I mean by Wild Nature, quite simply any flower / plant, insect, bird or animal that is not a pet, kept in a zoo or bird park or is a flower in a cultivated garden.

Yes an insect or wild bird on one of your prize specimen flowers is OK

Sorry to be pedantic, but where does cultivated Farmland fit in? e/g - wild flowers in a crop field??!

Re: Forum Challenge 31 - "Wild Nature"

Hi Diana my interpretation here was that flowers in your garden were out of scope but farmland as per the blue fields were fine, wild flowers in a crop fied are just one of the sort of things I was hoping people would focus on.

The intent was to try and encourage people to look a little further than just stepping out the back door but not make it very difficult for people to get pictures

                      Life at the very edge...

On the very edge of a forming sand dune, two of the primary colonisers that help dune growth -
Marram Grass and Sea Holly -

From Black Pill in Swansea, Mumbles Pier and lighthouse visible in the background, and another coloniser - Sea Sandwort - forming a carpet nearer the sea.

                      Cheers, Chris.
                      Just chuggin' along.
