Re: Challenge 40 - "The Opposite Point of View".

Thank you to Chris for setting and judging and well done to all who entered.... i am gobsmacked, thank you for the kind comments on this one,
    really appreciate them..

as for the photo, save a little sharpening and a slight colour correction, was pretty much SOOC, with the a addition of a little photoshoppery.....

Camera set at 1/60th f22 iso 200, on the nifty 50 with 13mm extension tube.. Two strobes, cam right and left half power, black foam deflectors, was shot in the the afternoon, but the flash combined with exposure drowned out the daylight. Also a boom and some fishing line.....

    to produce this...

I had thought of a longer lens and have someone just throw the dart, but I couldn't get the shallow depth of focus that i wanted, so had to resort to a bit of photoshop cloning......
As to the position of the eye and hand, I have about 45 failed attempts in the bin

My money would have been on Brian and his squirrel.. love that shot :)

hmmm, thinking cap is on for the next one....

Very creative in setting it up Richy. The effort you put into creating that shot, made it a bullseye for a win.

        Great winning shot Richy!
Thanks for sharing your set up, TBH I wouldn’t have, it’s like a magician giving away his tricks

The only thing I’ve seen similar to this is the OOF golfer (follow through of swing) in the BG with the suspended ball looking like it’s going to smash the tog’s lens.

I enjoyed looking at all the entries, I’m glad DianaS boots picture received an honourable mention, that was my fav until the Richy's Dart was posted,

Chris it’s nice to see the tradition judge giving some feedback on individual pictures being restored, although I honestly don’t mean this as a dig at people who gave no feedback.
