Noisy Camera

I would like some info, advice on noisy camera, shutter etc.
Do any of the photographers here wrap up their gear to mute shutter activation when shooting birds. I use 5d2 and some times 1D4 sometimes remotely due lacking long lenses and find the noise in quiet corners of the camera shutter, mirror sounds akin to a passing brass band.
Any thought?

Many thanks Gelert for the link. I have already tried the silent mode and in my opinion does not make that much difference, just another sound. I have however made a polystyrene mould for both cameras and this works very well cutting down the nose to almost inaudible levels. Thanks again.
