    New dream job

Hi, just wanted to share my news!!

I've just been given a great opportunity of working with a professional photographer. He specialises in wedding photography but also covers proms etc

It's unpaid at the moment (expenses covered), with a view to being taken on next year paid, but to be honest it's more about the experience than the money at the moment. I will eventually be photographing the brides preparations whilst he covers the grooms, which terrifies me at this moment in time eeekkkk
I just need to build on my confidence and learn as much as I can from him, I'm sure he won't be throwing me in at the deep end

Just so so happy at receiving such a great opportunity, feel like I'm finally on my way with somebody whom see's potential in me

Great news Emily and wish you all the best.

The thought of doing weddings would scare the hell out of me but I suppose once you have a few under your belt you will be used to it.
I think one of the best ways to learn is actually be thrown in at the deep end, and I'm sure you will learn a lot from the pro.
What a great opportunity and good luck.

That's the most important thing. Wishing you every success in what will be an interesting, hard working opportunity.

First church wedding on 5th May, camera is ready to go and my new suit is hanging on my wardrobe. I'm sure the nerves will kick in as the date gets nearer!
