    Nightjar photo

    I have a friend who is trying to photograph Nightjars flying at dusk he has a 7D + canon 200mm lens can anyone recommend what camera setting would be best for this please

    Is the lens IS and is it f2f.8 or 2? If not - ss200 or greater, iso auto limited to 1600, and f8 and play around from there. That's what I would start off with.
    Obviously high frame rate,and continuous focus. Maybe try spot meeting, and central focus point.

      Not an expert but Thndr_strck's comment makes sense. Perhaps you might like to ask your friend to join the happy band of Canon users and get involved with posting pics and asking questions.
