    Another assignment- 25th Oct 2013

    I have been requested to take on another assignment this Friday and I will be competing with other togs representing the media. This covers the visit of a VIP to St.Asaph. As flash photography is allowed, would experienced members advise me to use my 24-105 (with flash) or my new love,the nifty fifty (with flash)? This is a morning shoot and there no church service involved.

    Apologies for this late request and thank you.

    Without knowing how close you will be allowed to the VIP Nathaniel, I would suggest the 24-105 with flash if you are indoors and possibly not if you are outdoors. Unless that is you need a little bit of fill flash outdoors of course.

      Peter, thanks for that. I am pretty sure I will be reasonably close as I am one of the designated photographers for the Diocese of St.Asaph- the others are from the press from the various papers covering North Wales & BBC Wales.

        Great news Nat, agree with Peter your 24-105 would be the best bet.
