    Aveyard Photography ....

I've just set up my Aveyard Photography website through Zenfolio. I'm still on the 14 day trial at the moment, but I'm quite pleased with their system so far. I just need to get some more decent photographs now.

Looks a good site Andy, well set up and easy to navigate. Mine with foliopic is quite similar and simple to set up although I have got a bit lazy of late in keeping it up to date so just added a link to my flickr photostream

Aye on my MAC it looks fantastic. I was with them for a wee while, in fact, them, smugmug, squarespace and even 500px portfolios. Settled on 4ormat as it was far cheaper with the same functions. Ended up winning a years pro sub via a twitter comp lol

Least you can get your URL. paulstewartphotography.co.uk and .com has been taken, who'd have thought, another Paul Stewart would be a photog.

Looks good Andy, some stunning images on there (some of which I've seen on these forums). I like the site layout and colour scheme, it's easy to navigate around and shows off your images well

When I browse through such portfolios I'm often put-off by months (or years!) out of date blogs, something which it sounds as though Stan has experienced so my advice is to keep a steady stream of updates going.

I hope you get some sales

Andy, really classy site which showcases your great images well. Hope it'll turn into a real asset for you.
Just a minor point for you to consider. On my monitor (which isn't that small), when you click on 'portfolio' you can see the four thumbnails of the sets, but not their names. Just moving the names up one line so they are visible first off would really help the navigation.

First page is great, Andy. Epic! The only thing I'm not sure about is the white borders around the images. It seems very bright compared to the other muted colours. Of course, i'm not sure what it would look like with no boarder, or a different colour...

Thanks LP. There are several style presets to choose from, I opted for a darker style, as I feel it spotlights the image rather than the page itself. This is all new to me and there might just be a setting that I've overlooked somewhere. It's been a 1 step forward, 2 steps back process so far. :-)
