    Has anyone heard of (or are using) LensTag? It sounds like a great idea, log all your equipment on a central database which can be used to check whether stolen, however it's only usable if adopted by a significant number of people. The fact that it's free should help adoption

        Link works for me.

        If memory serves me right don't Canon offer something similar.

        That said, if this is free and firms use it then its very worth while giving it a whirl. imho... Thanks for the link.
