Well I have really done it this time - cleared the credit card and the first thing I do. . . . . go to WEX and trade my 1dmkiv in for the 1DX [shakes head] got a decent price for the mk4 even with 118500k shutter count so now I just need a couple of days to get my head around it and get the settings as I need them. Hey none of us know how long we are here so why not enjoy it while we can - as long as the mortgage gets paid everything else is a bonus

Oh and some new recipes for bread and water please

lol, thanks guys - as for the camera shop being close. . . . . . sort of. . . . . well it's a hundred miles away but it seems closer! Hopefully get some time with it next weekend (got a packed week with the day job) never know I may even learn how to use it before the next season starts lol

Oh as a side note - anyone use SD cards? Although I had one in the camera (and one spare) I never actually used them in the mk4 so I have a sandisk SDHC 16gb and a Sandisk extreme pro 16gb up for grabs anyone wants them

internet .....this is Spain you know .... but the temptation of walking past a shop window with lots of L lenses and sexy bodies on show is something I don't have to worry about
