DScolourlabs - used them for a few years for most of our competition and sale prints. Unbeatable prices although I am not sure if there is a premium for delivery to Spain

they are very quick. We usually upload on a Sunday evening, printed and dispatched on Monday and delivered on Tuesday or sometimes Wednesday at the latest

              Re: Printing Services

Coincidentally enough, this is what I was going to come ask. I want to get some high quality prints of my grandad that recently passed away.
Within in my Billingham Hadley Large: Canon EOS 550D [Gripped], EF 50mm f/1.8, EF 85mm f/1.8 USM, Tamron 18-270mm Di II VC PZD, EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM, Kenko Teleplus DG AF Extension Tubes [36+20+12] and Speedlite EX430 II.

              Redundant: EF-S 18-55mm lens f/3.5-5.6 IS II and EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS

I use Loxley for all my pro work - and photobox for anything over A4 for us inc some outstanding A0 prints for the stairwell. People think there cheap so don't use them - Trust me, nothing cheap about the final results.

Each to their own I guess

                  Re: Printing Services

David, those look brilliant. However on Stan's and others' recommendation, I have been using Simlab. They are brilliant - and cheap: it is only 85p plus VAT for a 10 x 15 print. I have never used their more expensive services, as I have always found this simply amazing. And as Stan says, the turnaround is incredible. The only time I had a problem was when we had three months of flooding, but it wasn't them that was the problem, it was the wussy courier!

I have also used DS Colour Labs for a perspex and an aluminium print. I love the perspex, but was rather disappointed by the aluminium: they should have warned me that the colour cast was totally different. Indeed I think they should have corrected for it, because it worked brilliantly on the perspex and Giclee paper

If you want local the print shop a couple of doors from the Guardia Civil in Pego are very good and incredibly cheap. They print up to A0 and also have a roll printer for those huge panoramas.

                          Re: Printing Services

For Camera Club entries I normally just print and mount my own A4 images on my trusty Kodak printer.
For anything bigger, I order through my website which uses Photobox.

A lot of local Pro photographers have their printing done by Costco who produce superb prints at a reasonable cost.
I've yet to use them but certainly will be in the future

Sorry for the delay, day job gets in the way and I have zero internet whilst at work.

Big A0 frames are not cheap BUT are superbly made and you will need two people to mount them on the wall, bought them from HERE

                            Catch up soon
