Canon EF 16-35mm f4L USM Lens

    Good Morning Guys.
I am thinking of buying the new Canon EF16-35mm f4L IS USM lens for my 70D. The price is particularly good via Amazon at the moment.
I wonder as the 70D is not a full frame camera will I suffer from any loss of performance from the lens?

I have that lens and its stunning - you won't loose performance but also don't forget with the crop its not going to be that wide, hence the reason most with crops go for 10mm upwards

      Thanks for that Tigger.
Is there anywhere that could provide a practical example of how much of the wide angle view I would be missing?
By that I mean a photo of a full frame view and a cropped sensor.

As you will no doubt have gathered I am getting to grips with photography again after a lapse of a number of years so, please excuse the inane questions
