    This was just a bit of instant fun... I wonder how much better I could get it... Blade Runner anyone...

    yep its a replicant ;o).... thats some stunning crop - it makes you wonder when you have 50meg to play if long zooms are needed in your bag

    5D Mk III, 24-105 / 70-200 f2.8 L / 100-400 Mk II / 100 macro / 16-35 L / 11-24 L / 1.4 & 2x converters and a bad back carrying it all ;o)

      I was going to say "Esper anyone", but realised if you googled it you might get the ESP usage not the handy Blade Runner picture processing gizmo. The corrugated roof the bird is on came out quite nicely, the bushes/trees just look like bushes/trees, but I was pleasantly surprised considering I just played with the sliders in ACR.

      BTW shot with the 70-200 at 135. Cropping quite tight on the bird gives an 2800x2600 image that's nicely clear and sharp. Then again they usually fly away by the time I even get that close, so I think 300-400mm lenses will still be useful.
