    Time to buy?

News this morning is that the pound has fallen considerably against other currencies and opinion is that it's likely to continue to fall until the EU referendum, no certainty what will happen after that. That's likely to increase the prices of photo equipment which is virtually all imported. If I were looking to make a major buy in the near future, I'd be tempted to do it now. Personally I've already spent all the money I have to spare this year, already difficult to find some things at the prices I paid a few weeks ago.

I will not use the currency fluctuations as a reason to buy equipment. I would rather wait and buy when the prices have stabilised.

according to my exchange broker its generally agreed that sterling will drop another 10% till the referendum is done - I'm not sending money over and waiting till after the referendum, it will either drop like a stone if UK leaves or will recover quite quickly

          Hi
If your spent out then why worry !! 3 years ago we lived in Canada at $1-50=£ now $2, exchange rates are the way of the world and the last I read the Jap' yen was very weak to the US $ so where does this take us !! Cheap kit in the USA ? But the £ to the US$ is at an all time low, so oil price will rise UK, relax Richard !!
