Full moon rising over the sea

So tomorrow's full moon is due to rise over the sea in Marathon, Greece at 7.30ish. The sun will be setting the other side roughly 180 degrees away. Has anyone tried photographing the moon rising, and if so what lens did you use? I can go:
    • 24-70
    • 70-200
    • 135; or
    • 2x plus 70-200

All on my 5Diii. What would you try? Remembering that I will be on a sandy beach and don't want to be changing lens to often in that environment!

This is the view of the sea with the mountains in the distance where the moon will be rising...

Thanks for any help in advance!!!

    Best

personally i would go for as long as possible so 70-200 will retain the quality and allow limited zoom back, also remember the nearer the horizon the larger the moon appears

Thanks Jeff. Being ignorant, I didn't know it was bigger on the horizon. I have just checked the times, and the sunset is at 20.14 and moonrise at 20.17. Should be interesting!

Last night the moonrise was wonderful so the full one tonight was greatly anticipated as it would have risen slowly out of the sea. It should have been at 19:15 but... it's been raining for the first time in days and low cloud meant I couldn't even see the horizon let alone the moon

Richard, I hope yours was more successful

        Cheers,
        John

The weather can so hack you off! Here is my practice attempt with 70-200 last night - the moon should be in a slightly better place this evening:

I like the bands of colour both in the sea and sky in this Richard the moon adds to the overall scene. Well done

Looking at the practise shot perhaps the t.c should be used .you really do need IMPACT in those type of shots

                Both excellent pictures Richard.

You could cheat and transform the moon to the size you want it to be!

Nice images, I like them all.
The first especially appeals to me as its a little different.
