    Locations West Sussex

I'm having to come back to the UK end of September and will do my best to walk past Dixon's at duty free and not buy the 5D :)

I've got ONE free day and I'm being allowed out to take some photos... I've never been to Arundel Castle and as I'll be staying in Hampshire its a location I can get easy, has anyone been there? How long would you say I'd need ?

I've also been past Lancing College loads of times and looking into whether you can get access, I'm sure not into the college itself as term will be on but hopefully other buildings, does anyone know ?

Last any other places I should visit around? off the A27 ?

Never been inside Arundel castle, but it is beautiful to photograph plus Swanbourne Lake just down further is great. Have been in Lancing Chapel many times and you would love that. Arundel Wetlands is good to for birds

There still letting you in after brexit though things were changing!
Can't help with any locations as I have no knowledge of the particular area but I'm sure you will have a great time shooting.

                    Re: Locations West Sussex

Just walked in back home after a weeks holiday in West Sussex.
The only place I knew I wanted to visit was the one place I never got to, Bosham!
Found a great windmill up on a hill that I'm hoping to have got some good shots from.
Other than that some great museums, and coast where we were was beautiful.

                      Re: Locations West Sussex

We haven't been inside the castle for some years but seem to remember there is quite a lot to see and there are also good views of it from outside the castle as well. Arundel wetlands is about the weakest of the wetland centres so I would probably give that a miss.

Don't forget Bosham and the harbour, church etc is not too far away although you would need to check out the tide times for the shots across the water towards the church
