    AF Pt Back button focus

Canon 7D Mk II - When I use back button focus it selects a different AF area to what I have set using the shutter button. How do I change the AF area selection mode using back button focus?

    Cheers,
    Phil

Erm, it shouldn't, is the easy answer. The selected focus point is nothing to do with which button you use.

Unless you have it on auto-select, in which case a slight difference in framing may cause it to select a different point. But I'm clutching at straws.
