Both brilliant images, Stan, and both well deserving of their accolades, as are you.

                        Re: A medal at Smethwick

Hi Stan, I have been out of touch for a while, unfortunately, and have just read of your wonderful award in the Smethwick International Ex,
                        Congratulations of the highest order,
Many Forum members will not appreciate the status that the Smethwick Int, holds, possibly the best in the UK, and one of the top ranking in the WORLD,
It was always a point of the year to look forward to going to the Smethwick club rooms in January to see the best possible entries from all over the world , if possible I recommend any one who can to go and see the exhibits, once again Congratulations of a outstanding achievement, Ben

                          thanks Bill and Ben

that's why I was so surprised and chuffed. I have had some acceptances in the past but the last time I entered 3 years ago, none made the grade so I gave it a rest for a couple of years. Certainly the standard is extremely high and I remember a few years ago on the original EOS forum was a member who belonged to Smethwick and was one of their local judges and even he was chuffed to get some of his images accepted in the exhibition
