    Whoops!! Ever failed to notice.....

....something that spoils a shot because you are concentrating too hard??

Like - was concentrating so hard on getting the focus for this Owl-eye Butterfly that I didn't notice the wood-louse making an entrance -

And, here, I was after this "waiting for the train" shot of a photographer shooting an iron-ore train from the footbridge at Barnetby in Lincolnshire, and was concentrating on getting the positions of him and the train right and didn't notice that the red arm of the semaphore signal was laying across the top of his head....

Happen to anyone else? And, anyone got any examples to share??

    Cheers, Chris.
    Just chuggin' along.

Like Muscat... far tooooo many times.
I usually manage a power pylon poking through the trees in a landscape. Great if you are a member of the power pylon appreciation group...

        Far too many times Chris.

In the days of film, I used to airbrush them out of the print, but now we have photoshop.

          Chris,
I've only just spotted this thread, and yes, like others have said, I think we've all been there.
So far as your 'Barnetby East' shot is concerned, I suppose you could always ask the signalman to 'pull off'.

The semaphores still look good, don't they ?

          Alan.

An everyday occurance to me lol, but I'm so glad that it happens to better photographers than me. Oh and for what it's worth, I used to drive those trains, but I saw the light and left.
