Re: Country file calendar
I think they are better than usual. I’m impressed with all but two of them being the puffin and fields of gold. It’s hard to choose a favourite...maybe the back lit stag or polecats ...although the symmetry of the swan and colours and composition of the waxwing are special...what do you think?Last edited by @imagesBV; 26-08-2018, 21:09.Brian Vickers LRPS

Re: Country file calendar
Bo, I think you are looking at a different year. This year's link (may not work outside of UK I guess):
I think I'll be voting for either the Swan ('Swan Lake'), the Highland Cattle ('Big Dipper') or the ravine ('Reflected Glory').
I only glanced it on yesterday's programme, but they briefly showed a lane that looked like a tunnel with the light at the end. I thought that was more interesting than the line of trees ('Autumn Flame ') that got through.Canon EOS 7D

Re: Country file calendar
Oh right Alex got it now, I must indeed have been looking at the wrong year. Thank you.
Some lovely stuff there so I'd be over the moon if I'd made onto even the semisemi short list.
I'm not allowed to vote but for me the swan sways it.
And is it just me or does anyone else think that in between the 2 Easter Bunnies the red blob and the brown twig touching an ear just have to go??!

Re: Country file calendar
A decent enough set but none of the make me go 'Wow!' which has happened in the past. Best of the bunch for me is 'Sunlit Stag'...Nigel
