I just use a microfibre cloth

There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And, you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is!

I use a microfibre mitten the wife bought from a pound shop for cleaning the LED telly, works like a dream !

Please feel free to critique or rework my pictures unless I ask otherwise.

        Oh Lord won't you buy me a 300mm F2.8L (or at a push, a 200-400 F4).

For everyday use ... a microfibre rag or optical one-use tissues. But, for those more stubborn hard to shift stains I use an alcohol free / ammonia free inert solvent (such as that in the Calumet Optical Glass Kit). Using my 17-40 whilst rambling means its filter can get ‘dirty’ attracting rain and sometimes worse. I’m not getting into the protection filter debate but the above cleaning stuff works. I’ve used it on my G10 (which isn’t protected). For the camera body ... good old IPA works a treat (no no not India Pale Ale but propan-2-ol).
