    TAGGING Photos

    Was just wondering how many of you put Tag's on your photos

    I don't use metadata not even on Flickr (don't seem to have the time, honest). I guess as I tell folk to use metadata in documents, etc. I should really find the time.

      I try to tag all the photos I put on the web .

      I have my copyright and contact info embedded in every image automatically, but I do forget the keyword sometimes.

        I use Lightroom and do the tagging as part of the import process. On import I set all the common data like location and then once they are imported I select all the imported photos that need a particular tag attached and do this as a bulk job and repeat as necessary for other tags. It doesn't take very long to do and does make it easy to find shots later.

        Look at your workflow and see if you can add tagging somewhere easily IMHO it is worth it later.

          Same as Colin...I use Lightroom 3 and tag as I "import" the images.
