    R7 Raw files Cannon ddp

Hi I have just processed my first shots with my new R7 and found it is taking around ten minutes in Canon DDP to Convert & Save a single file after editing.
I have downloaded the latest version which Canon recommended for R7 Raw files
i shoot with the Raw option on my R7.
I noticed the R7 also gives you an option of CRaw would this be the better option for quicker processing or do you think it’s probably my PC
I had no problem with Raw files from my Previous 7D mk2 or my 1DX

    Thank you

    Bob

I would think this is a PC issue. I use DDP but have never experienced anything like that.

I always record in both JPEG and CRaw (with the exception of modes that demand JPEG only) and have not had an issue. I do not use DPP a great deal but when I have it has been fine. CRaw files for me work just as well as Raw.

I would agree with Trev that it sounds like a PC issue.
