    Christmas Presents!

Anyone expecting to get something to do with photography for Christmas?

Not me, well not what I know off anyway.

What do you think of it Bawbee? I've read that they are super to use, but the nibs wear very quickly!
The camera works just fine, it's the idiot staring through the viewfinder that need's help!

        Re: Christmas Presents!

I have been asked to give "Santa" a couple of options - one is a graphics tablet and the other a tripod. I have to wait and see now cos "Santa" insists there should always be an element of surprise on Christmas morning.

Socks! I suppose they'll help keep my feet warm when I'm out!

            All the best, Mike.

It's a pity job security for me continues to be poor ... so not risking buying the 5D2 and 70-300L (or 70-200 f2.8 IS) ... I guess the 5D3 will be out before things settle down. So nowt really for the second Christmas in a row, well except some digital maps.

Was going to buy myself a Gorilla Pod SLR to take to Australia with me this week but my young brother in Aus has one and said I could use it so it will be a case of try before I buy so the pounds are back in my pocket. Although I figure 4 weeks in Australia over Christmas and New Year and the saving will rapidly vanish. ahh warm weather for 4 weeks....

I am similar to Bawbee in as much as I have just received a Wacom tablet from me to me, not had much of a chance to play with it yet

I'm hoping for a Canon EF 50mm 2.5 Macro Lens - though it may be a January sale rather than a box under the tree. I'm not rich, its just a combined Christmas and Birthday present.

Good choice Muscat you will find it so much easier than using the mouse.

Which Wacom did you give yourself

David, I think it is the same as you purchased the Bamboo Pen and Touch, the tablet work area is 90x 150mm, plent for me to get to grips with as a first tablet

Well I have dropped hints to 'Santa' maybe tripod, maybe flash, but have no idea what it will be. A Surprise :)
