Reminding people how to post images to the forum using Flickr....
1) use either Flickr, or Photobucket.... this is a guide to using Flickr
2) In Photoshop Elements (for example) do what you have to do with the image then save it as a PSD but do not close it
3) re-sharpen the image(up to the same amount as you previously sharpened the image) as downloading it will make the image “soft”.
4) resize the image to 800 pixels wide, the length will auto resize
5) view the image as screen size to check it is all ok and you are happy to let it out to the world (the image will look oversharpened)
6) save the image as a max JPEG
7) in Flickr download the image to your Photostream
8) after the image is downloaded open it and at the top left you will see a tab.. "Actions" and three symbols, envelope, facebook and twitter then a down arrow symbol..... select the down arrow head (marked "Share") and then select “Grab the HTML/BBCode”.
9) beneath the small box containing code there is a selection box, click on the down arrow and select the size image which you wish to post to the forum.
10) beneath the selection box there are two choices, (1) HTML and (2) BBCode, select BBCode.
11) then right click on the code in the box above the selection box, as this code will be for the size image you wish to post, and select Copy
12) return to the EOS Forum thread you are compiling, right click in your posting where you want your image to appear and select Paste. When you post your thread your image should appear in your posting and will be the size you selected in step 9.
