    Some really outstanding shots here so far, not had any chance to get out this month really but hoping for next weekend but just in case we don't get out here is one that I kept from a walk around Weald Park last week.

    1/125, f/5.6, iso 100, 70mm. 5DmkIII 70-200 2.8

                The very first outing with the new 5D Mklll

                Taken the afternoon at Marks Halls country estate, at Coggeshall in Essex.

                Still lots of trees yet to turn to their Autumn colours, and even the 800 year old 'Honywood Oak' tree was still in full green leaf. However, a beautiful day, and a refreshing walk in the late Autumn sunshine.

                5D Mklll + 24-105L, aperture priority, and ISO200.

                              We've had some beautiful weather here in NE Scotland this November.
                              A few frosty mornings really helped boost the Autumn colours.
                              These shots were taken at the flight pond at Castle Fraser on 6/11/13
                              The textures on the surface of the water is actually a thin layer of ice breaking up and melting as the temperatures rose
                              The Flight Pond was created in the 19th Century to attract wildfowl so that the gentry could shoot them
