That’s interesting and different Tom, a nice composition. Just a thought but had you considered removing the black border? I think it would look better.

          Details, mere details...

          Dolphin Detail
          by Nigel Hayes, on Flickr

The Dolphin - or Dolphin & Anchor as it was latterly known - used to be a hotel opposite the Cathedral in Chichester until it closed many years ago. The building is mainly 18th century (IIRC) although parts may well be older. Currently it's one part Wetherspoons (still called the Dolphin & Anchor), one part Waterstones/Costa Coffee and one part closed down Edinburgh Woollen Mill outlet...

          Shippams Were Here
          by Nigel Hayes, on Flickr

Shippams moved production out of the old factory many years ago but the building remained as offices until far more recently. Now all that remains is part of the facade - or that which didn't 'collapse' when the interior of the building was being demolished - and the old clock-cum-sign over the former main entrance.

I can remember when the factory was still operating - in the summer they would often have the factory windows open and the smell was considerably less appetising then the product!

Excellent Nigel. I remember the shippams fac as well when it was up and going and remember having a tour of the factory!

              The Old Shed
              by Nigel Hayes, on Flickr

This shed is tucked away behind the gateway that leads into the Bishops Palace grounds.

You can relax now, it's all over...
