    Relative Newbie

    Hello,
I'm Jim from North Lincolnshire, I have just ordered an EOS 650d mainly because I can't afford the 5D mk3 that I really wanted.
I had an eos 400d a few years ago but ditched it for a point and shoot. The point and shoot was supposed to make things easier as it is light and portable, but just recently I have become really frustrated with my shots.
I am a mac user so I will probably need help with aperture at some point in the future (currently use IPhoto but I'm all to aware of its limitations)
Have been reading the forum for a couple of weeks and decided to join up as you all seem a friendly bunch.

The camera works just fine, it's the idiot staring through the viewfinder that need's help!

                    Hi Jim, and welcome.

Remember, its not about which 'kit' you can afford, but what you can do with the 'kit' you can afford.

I'm sure there are people out there, producing better results with a 650d, than some individuals with a 5D Mklll.

The phrase "all the gear, and not a clue" can be very true with some people.

                    Enjoy your 650d!!

                    Dave

                        Welcome from another newbie!

650d is a lot of camera if used right!
