Hello all,
New to DSLR and am on here to learn and take critisism from all and sundry.
Not taken any descent pictures for about 15 yrs so thought i'd upgrade the compact that gets thrown in the bag for family day trips with a Canon EOS 60D with the EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens Kit. i did purchase a cheap telephoto too.
Only bought it days before a family holiday so many many pictures taken, some good mostly bad from what i've seen so far.
Holiday gave me lots of time for playing about with it and reading up in the evenings as why those pictures weren't quite what i wanted to achieve, but by the end i got some good portraits that i'm happy with and a few good landscapes which will get posted on here as soon as i get a chance to go through them.
Mostly bought the camera for motorsport and bike racing (road racing) in particular, so that will be my main focus on learning along with some landscapes.
You all seem like a pretty friendly lot and seems to be some good advice on the forum.
