    Hi, New member

Hi, i'm Jo and new to the forum and thought i'd say hi and ask a couple of questions!!

I'm looking for a 100mm macro lens for my Canon 600D and have been looking at second hand options to save a few pounds. Is there individuals selling second hand lenses via eos? If so can someone point me In the right direction please as I haven't managed to find it yet!

Secondly I've been looking at which macro lense to go for, the tokina 100mm seems to have great reviews - does anyone have one they would comment on / recommend??? Obviously going for non canon lense makes sense financially but I want to get a macro lense that I am happy with and keep for many years, decisions decisions!!

    Thanks so much in advance

      Welcome Jo!

I think that whichever macro you go for you'll not be disappointed, but don't discount the Canon 100mm f/2.8 (non-L), it's not a lot more than the third party alternatives.

Hi Jo welcome to the forum, as Stephen has said most macro lenses are capable of giving stunning images, I have generally stuck with Canon personally, (secondhand lenses you could try MPB just click on the icon on the top of the forum header plenty there to look at.)
